England
Fun for the Whole Family!
Inventors of the phrase, "Finders keepers, losers weepers;" England is absolutely packed to the brim with history. But don’t make the mistake of skipping the rolling hills and peaceful countryside beyond its cities.
OUR EXPERIENCE
Our trips to England have never really been planned around a particular season. We usually find ourselves there because of a work conference or some other obligation, then make the most of the opportunity by seeing what we can find nearby.
In a way, that’s become part of the fun of visiting. Rather than arriving with one big adventure in mind, England has given us a chance to explore a little differently each time – visiting new places, experiencing the countryside, trying different kinds of fishing, and squeezing in whatever adventures we can before it’s time to head home. Thankfully, there are plenty of options.

THINGS TO DO
Natural History Museum
One of London’s most iconic museums, the Natural History Museum is home to millions of specimens spanning dinosaurs, wildlife, geology, evolution, and the history of life on Earth.
'Big Ben' Clock Tower
Few sights say “London” quite like Big Ben and the Palace of Westminster rising beside the River Thames. It’s also an easy area to explore on foot, with the London Eye just across the river and the statue of Winston Churchill overlooking Parliament Square nearby.
Diddly Squat Farm
Made famous by Clarkson’s Farm, Diddly Squat Farm gives fans of the show a chance to step into Jeremy Clarkson’s questionably successful attempt at becoming an English farmer.
Leicester Museum
Before dinosaur parks, documentaries, and even a little Christmas magic, Richard and David Attenborough spent their childhood exploring Leicester Museum & Art Gallery.
Kew Gardens
Escape the streets of London and explore one of the world’s greatest collections of plants, spread across more than 300 acres of gardens, forests, and enormous glasshouses.
